Not Alone

Today a child leaves,
out into the world.
Do not weep,
journeys are not done alone.

It's kept in his hand,
his hope and light.
"It's me and you," he whispers,
"We aren't alone."

The child has won,
the child has lost.
But they keep on,
together, not alone.

Many battles,
many perils,
only the righteous prevail,
and not alone.

"This is it,"
the child says.
"We've made it so far."
But it was not done alone.

We've got the gold,
we learned a lot.
A master and Pokémon,
are never alone.

Same Inside

Two creatures-
one boy,
one Pokémon-
same life.

Two goals-
one great,
one small-
same dream.

Two views-
one kind,lax,
one strict,tough-
same message.

Two paths-
one fast,
one slow-
same destination

Two results-
one happy,
one sad-
same ending.
